We got Preston an exersaucer for Christmas. He LOVES it. He is content to sit and play for hours. It is fun to watch as he figures the different parts of it out. Jacob and I find ourselves sitting on the floor and watching him. He concentrates so hard. It is fun to look over at him when he is playing because he will look up and grin. He can't reach the floor very well so we have placed the Webster's Dictionary under his feet. He is a happy baby.

Food (Mush)
So, we finally decided to give Preston food after a couple of weeks of feeling self-conscious wiith him staring us down every time we ate anything. So far he seems to like applesauce (what's not to like). He isn't a fan of rice cereal or oatmeal. I do have to say that it is hilarious to watch him dry heave.

I forgot to add my favorite pictures from Maine. The only ones we took were in the car unfortunately. Jacob jumped in the back seat to try and calm down Preston. While he was there Preston had a HUGE blowout. It was hilarious. Jacob had the pleasure of cleaning it up. I just sat in the front seat and giggled. The other picture is of Jacob and Preston in the Boston commons.
Preston thinks that changing his diaper is pretty funny sometimes. He surprises us and giggles when we take try to hurry and take his diaper off and put on another. It turns out he takes after his father and is extremely tickelish (is that really a word?)
The rest of these pictures are just us goofing off at home. Whenever he smiles we run for the camera. I swore I would never do that when I had children. Oh well...

Due to the continual suggestion of, "you should start a blog...", I figured maybe it is time to give it a shot. Maybe we should start with the disclaimers. I've seen what all of you professional bloggers out there can do. Let's just say I'm not really joining the ranks. I just need a place to post pictures for the grandparents. Preston is pretty cute though so that should at least make this blog worth while......
