Spaghetti

So after swim time we decided to strip Preston down and let him feed himself Spaghetti. He was hilarious to watch. He would slurp the noodles into his mouth. By the time he was done we had to put him in the tub, undo the high chair and throw the seat cover in the washer, as well as vacuum and sweep the foor.

Swim time

This weekend it is 90 degrees in Washington. Shocking, I know.... We went shopping for a few odds and ends and ended up buying a baby pool. We filled it with hose water and left it to heat up. Unfortunately it didn't heat as much as it should. I put Preston's feet in and he started shivering. We quickly brought out some hot water from the tap. Preston loved it!

Daddy thought he should get in and play. I don't think he realized how small the pool really was. Preston was too busy to notice that he was there. Needless to say Jacob got out pretty quickly.

Utah and Idaho

For Spring Break we got to go spend time with family in Utah and in Idaho. Preston got to experience his first Easter egg hunts. He is pretty good at getting plastic eggs open and geting whatever is inside into his mouth before we can stop him.

In Idaho we golfed, rode four wheelers and fished. (Catch and Release of course - there is no way I was going to eat what I caught). Jacob is still talking about taking Uncle Steve's Bullitt Mustang for a ride.
Preston loved being with family. He spent a lot of time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In fact, we finally got to meet Weston.

I swear Preston was never that little (and Weston is already over 2 months old in this picture). Preston looks like he could eat him.

Preston is obsessed with walking. He loves that he can get places. He has gotten REALLY fast. Jacob and I giggle because he has started walking all over the house to look for us. He is very methodical. He looks in the closets and in the shower. I will be happy when he can walk by himself. My back is killing me from leaning over and helping him balance.

Cherry Blossoms

The Cherry Blossoms were beautiful this year (as always). It was fun to take Preston into DC to see the monuments.
